Eagan Post 594 is proud to sponsor the American Legion Patriots Baseball Team. They are a Division 1 team (SR Legion Team – 19 and under). There are 376 American Legion teams in Minnesota in 2025.
Minnesota American Legion Baseball History
For more than a century, American Legion Baseball has been a cornerstone of youth baseball in Minnesota. Since the state's first tournament in 1926—held every year except 2020—Minnesota has built one of the nation's richest baseball traditions and remains one of only a handful of states with such a remarkable legacy.

Minnesota has consistently led the nation in American Legion Baseball participation, with hundreds of teams and thousands of players taking the field each season. Over the past 100+ years, more than 420,000 young athletes have competed on approximately 27,100 teams, developing not only their baseball skills but also the leadership, sportsmanship, and character that define the American Legion Baseball program.

Today, Minnesota continues to set the standard for American Legion Baseball, providing opportunities for thousands of players each year through the dedicated support of local American Legion posts and community partners.
